Actually not all rappers need to degrade people. Not allowing a woman the right to drive, vote, dress as they wish, is some culture.........Not one I wan't to be a part of that's for sure. My dog has more rights than people in that culture..... However you are right, this is not the place to discuss these things and as far as I can tell you and I seem to still be able to agree we are both right in our own ways.... I should not have said you are narrow minded, so much as close minded.....there is a difference..., you can still open your thinking to beyond what you know.....
"Not allowing a woman the right to drive, vote, dress as they wish, is some culture" I dont agree with this any more than you but its not up to you oe me to decide what culture is. "My dog has more rights than people in that culture" Well thats a good match because dogs have more rights than women in the rap world( rapper language for women = bitch, hoe etc ) in the rap world "I should not have said you are narrow minded, so much as close minded" Im neither narrow minded or closed minded. Its my open mind that lets me talk this out with you So...if you wanna talk about the woman role in Iran, then you better watch a few snoop dog, 50 cent clips first and we can follow this discussion somewhere else. Anyway......as far a blocking Iranian businnes is involved , would I be allowed to provide my services to an Iranian customer? Would this be breaking the law ?
I wouldn't mind if rap disappeared in the western world, too. I'm of the same opinion as the late, great Ray Charles, who said concerning rap: "As a professional musician, why should I get excited about something I could do when I was ten years old?"
I would keep most rappers, and toss 100% of the religious leaders onto a planet somewhere 400,000,000 light years away, every single one no matter what their faith. Religion and the belief of some super human lol... are the entire reason there is war and terrorism in the first place..... Science is so less emotional and much easier to prove... @writer I am not a lawyer, so it would be wrong of me to advise you of such. You can probably call a law firm that does pro-bono work or gives a free consult to find your answer. Yes they are economic sanctions that are designed to stress the populace to where they revolt against the government and to limit the governments ability to provide beyond basic services and to ensure the financial impact is felt. Supposed humane way to change peoples minds as opposed to the use of war...... Peace!
Economic sanctions will do little to ease the misery of the Iranian folk. Its just good PR for the Iranian government. I back Googles decision to sell ads inIiran 100 %
"In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus, oans, zwoa, g'suffa!" That could be made into a rap song if someone wanted to do so.....again rap is a style of singing.....most country songs are degrading and damn depressing as well, but you do not find people up in arms over it..... I found this which basically states your services would be exempt from the sanctions imposed against Iran....
Who really cares about Google breaking the law, if they are doing it? It's not like our government is going to enforce it anyway.
Did you read the post right above yours???? And yes our government will take Google to court.....every case here in the US against Google is our government at work prosecuting Google where they can...... I guess we didn't go after Bill Gates and Microsoft???
Is google really doing advertising deals with Iranian adverisers/publishers? I doubt very much as they would not be allowed to transfer money from them... directly! Regards, RightMan
The importation from any country and the exportation to any country of information and informational materials, whether commercial or otherwise, regardless of format or medium of transmission, are exempt from the Iranian Transactions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. Part 560 (the “ITRâ€). ITR, § 560.210(c). Because the information provided in [ U.S. person’s ] database falls within the scope of § 560.210(c), the exportation of this information from the United States to Iran is exempt from the prohibitions of the ITR. They are doing business with businesses in Iran.
Well this is my opinion, I don't think that Google violates any law because Google just do their business wherein the law of US doesn't have the rights to accused Google because there is no law that when it comes to the internet world it is forbidden to do a transaction in Iran.
im not suprised this is google for you.. do i say not as i do. But what does google care legally they are ran from dublin ireland so if the us opposed them they would have the right to make isp's ban google.com nothing else. But then i gues amercians would just start using google.ca or another like they have done in iran.
So than every none blocking iran traffic website would violate U.S. regulations if - it is based in the U.S., showing google ads or any ads for U.S. companies - it has a U.S. citizen as owner, showing google ads or any ads for U.S. companies Do I understand that right?
