Today its obvious to me that the whole CJ is just nothing but a joke. My stats from Hostgator Affiliate Program disappeared today after it has been nearly 60 days after the action. Sat one month in new, one month in extended and suddenly disappeared before it has to get locked in 10th of this month. If for any reason my stats was cancelled, i did get no e-mail, CJ inside mail, nothing about cancelled sales on stats. How can you run a huge company like this without any seriousness? This is just a joke.
This has happened to me numerous times, always with the same merchant. Makes me kind of suspicious, but I haven't contacted them about it because there's probably nothing I can do about it. If you click on your balance amount and go to the page where it shows your sales for each date, then click on each one, it will show your sales for that day. Any reversed sales will be in red print. That's the only way I have found that shows reversed sales. I don't think it has anything to do with CJ. Sometimes a sale gets reversed due to credit card problems and stuff like that. Personally, I think something fishy is going on (in my case) because it is always the same merchant, never happens with any other merchant.
Hostgator is not one that you should use with CJ. Find another hosting company as Hostgator is reputed to be shaving on a regular basis.
It's true is not CJ is the advertiser. I had problem with webhostingpad.com. They cancelled my commission after 2 days for invalid credit card. In my opinion if a credit card is invalid it will show as soon as you buy something not after 2 days. A friend had problems with Justhost.com claiming that the accounts were cancelled. Unfortunately CJ has no control over them. Let's name and shame all of them!!
This is not technically "shaving" Shaving is like you make the sale, but they just dont show up in the account. Why do you wait 60 days to reverse a sale? That doesnt make any sense at all. I will not ever use them again, plus im gonna cancel my own personal account from Hostgator as well, cant stand shady business.
