anybody like nexus one? http://www.gadgetmate.com/?p=305 anybody like nokia n900? http://www.gadgetmate.com/?p=304 two hottest super phone on early 2010
n900 is slower than Nexus n900 is voip enabled Nexus is not n900 is too thick Nexus is slim n900 looks hot Nexus not that hot n900 is resistive Nexus is capacitive so Nexus is better So its ur choice which one to get!
N900 is quite old and it's crap. So you can not compare them. I did not had chance to play with Nexus One yet but N900 is very slow and not much use for it.
Nexus One for sure... I used to own an Nokia n900 and it doesn't even compare... I just got my Nexus One a few days ago and in the first 10 minutes I could tell the Nexus was way better.
Currently, Nexus One is at the top of the pedestal. No matter what smartphone brand I compare, it seems that Nexus one always emerges victorious. I recently published a series of specs comparison between Nexus One and other smartphones. I already published the second part which features Nexus One vs. Palm Pre, the first part was Nexus One vs. iPhone 3Gs. The third part is about to be publish it will feature Nexus One and Motorola Droid.
Haha Maemo[N900 os] hasn't even proved itself yet and then there is Android to kick his ass. Best of luck maemo, you've got tough competition ahead.
Nexus One has lots more applications than Nokia N900 internet tablet. Both devices are great. But since I use Google applications like Gmail, Youtube daily, I would prefer Nexus One. Nexus One is better one specification side also.
I will go with Nexus as its new as well as a cool product from Google. Also, its not much heavy as N900 which makes it look bad. - Mr.President -
N900 has 32 GB Internal memory + 64 GB expandable via SD Card (Nexus only has 4GB SD Card from factory) I get free TMOBILE Internet on 3G without any data plan on N900 (Nexus one i have to buy a $ 30 / month data plan) N900 has 600 MHZ ARM CORTEX A8 processor + 456 MHZ GPU (Nexus only has 1GHZ CPU / NO GPU) N900 Doesn't have 3G network issues (Nexus one is having log of issues staying onto 3G Network) Google search "NEXUS One 3G issues" and you'll know what im talking about N900 has desktop based web browser and Firefox is coming to it soon ( NEXUS has mobile based web browser) N900 runs on superior Maemo OS (NEXUS on virtual android - way shittier that Maemo) N900 has Carl Zeiss Camera lens ( NEXUS some fake chinese lens) N900 Video recording at 25 FPS (NEXUS recording at 20 FPS) Copy paste the following link from GSM ARENA Phone comparison to learn more http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=3069&idPhone1=2917
I own a N900 and I am a happy user of it. however N900 is nothing for hobby www users wasting life on facebook and youtube, N900 is a tool ( for web professionals ) allowing more or less any application a Debian based Linux laptop can do - in pocket size format while on the go. it is NOT about gadgets - its about security ( SSH/openssh ) secure connection to servers and serious web server control functions.
The n900 has a freakin' dedicated GPU, allowing it to run intensive applications such as a Playstation emulator. I'm pretty sure I prefer the n900. @jeehan: Capacitive touch screens are not inherently better than resistive ones. While capacitive screens feel much better when you're using your fingers, you have to consider that: 1. You can't use a stylus, meaning you can only use your big, clumsy fingers. Drawing becomes pretty much impossible. 2. You can't use the screen while wearing gloves. This is very annoying during winter.
