There is no specific number that is considered acceptable. I do believe though that the more content included means more you can sell it for. Also, of course, the quality of the content. Nobody wants to pay $45 for a 10 page book.
You really just need to add as much content as the customer is buying. There's no point selling a "how to crack your wii" book and make it 200 pages; whilst there's no reason to sell a "how to learn guitar" book and make it 3 pages. It's all about value and how much your product should be.
What if the ebook was "How to make gold from coal"? 10 pages of content can be more valuable than you think!
If it's a guide, it can be as short as 10 pages. But that guide needs to be easy to follow. I've sold ebooks that are 400+ pages (a book that I wrote and also published offline) and those that are 45+ pages. It all depends on your niche. Typically, you will be selling a guide of some sort.
Thank you for all your answers. marcusio i know that my question sounds stupid. But you are the ones who sold a lot of ebooks and you know them maybe. I dont know if some of this ebooks have only 20 pages or less .You know if its possible to sell also ebooks with only 20 pages if it has a good information. thanks and a nice weekend playaner
Nice to see the customary wide range of opinions here. The reality is that it depends on who the potential customers are, which depends on the niche. There are e-books, for example, giving industrial, sensitive, financial information which can be as short as 3 or 4 pages and sell in large numbers for many hundreds of dollars. There are also others with over 200 pages which sell for very low prices. It all depends on what the market is.
what type of ebook? written by yourself for an optin list? or your future clickbank informational product? if you go with the 2nd then 45-50 pages in my HUMBLE opinion. Of course, write another report of 20-30 pages to upsell to your future customers.... affiliates just love additional commissions. cheers
Depends entirely on what the customer wants. Do a research to see how many pages your competition has.
Go to the library, count all the books, count all the pages, come up with an average. * Books/literature pieces have no determined average or requirement. How long is a piece of string? Instead you should ask yourself - What does my customer need? How do I deliver or overdeliver better than anyone else?
5 pages of report can be sold for $200 and 200 pages of ebook can be sold $5. Its all depends on the what the content is and who the buyer is.
You can find an eBook sample through the link below. General rule: More expensive product, the longer the book needs for explain it more details
