When you choose a cb product to sell, how do you choose? What criterias must be fullfilled? Here what I look for: 1. Product that I take an interst in. 2. Appealing website - If it is only an opt-in box I won't bother. 3. Clear information what the product is about 4. I ask for a review copy. If I get an email back: great. If I get a review copy: even better (other wise I buy it via my cb affiliate link). If I don't hear from them: I won't promote the product. My customers would not hear from them either. 5. I look for reviews on google concerning the product and vendor 6. I try the product. If it works, great. If it doesn't, I won't poromote it. What have I forgotten? Anything else I need to include? Your advice is much appreciated!
Competition. But the way you judge that depends on the methods you are going to be using. However if the gravity is very high, then the competition is going to be tough with any method - doesn't mean you can't beat it though. Cel
the criteria you mentioned are perfect.. esp the one with product you have interest in.. yes apart from thos you DO need to check out competetion
It doesn't necessarily mean that at all. This is a very widespread misconception. Some very high gravity products have appallingly low conversion-rates and low numbers of sales, too.
Why not create your own product and upload it to Clickbanks marketplace and let other people do the marketing.
I do agree with Alexa.. I'd try to be a little inventive.. do some testing myself and not listen to many out there That's what a real marketer does anyways. You need to figure out first, what niche has the hungriest crowd and jump right into it. I'll disclose some but not all .. Relationships/breakups, Green Energy, Weight Loss, Mental Health .. Focus on targeted traffic g Al.
Thanks a lot Al for these niches. Having my own product there would be great, wouldn't it? You give me food for thought!
Those are good niches to promote as an affiliate if you can find good keywords but I wouldn't try making a product in any of them since they are already filled with other vendors and they have all the affiliates. Try to think of a market that is untapped but has demand if you are going to make a product.
Your choice should depend on what your marketing resources are. There's a customer out there for every product. The real question is "Which customer are you equipped to reach?" Choose your product according to the answer to that question. For example if you already own blogs that cater to middle-aged women then look for products related to weight loss. If your sites cater to middle-aged men look for products that help with impotence. This is not a slight directed at either demographic, it's just a realistic report on what sells best to those groups, on average. If you don't own any sites at all, but you have PPC capital to spend, then pick products with the highest possible commission rate to ensure that when you get your one sale out of 200 clicks (for example), it more than covers the cost of your 200 clicks. If you don't own a site, and don't have PPC capital, then pick a product related to a forum that you already belong to, put a link in your signature, and start posting. Alternatively you can put up a Blogger page or Wordpress.com page for free and start blogging about any product that you are knowledgeable about and include affiliate links in your posts. Ezines can also make you a little money.
The only thing I am certain about is that high gravity means a competion. This also appears to be true .... try it and test is the best answer
Yes - agreed. That's the only thing of which you can be certain. (I noticed that during last year Clickbank changed the wording on their own site to point out to affiliates that these products are the most competitive and often difficult to promote for that reason).
Why would you say "gravitiy of at least 60"? I heard 30 is good - but then I learnt that gravity has not much to do with success - only whether there is more or less competition.
