offline marketing strategies

do you know any offline marketing strategies that could help in promoting my site? i've tried advertising my website through postcards.

 

Well what about notices ??

 

I use a lot of offiline promotion for websites, I am currenly including it as a topic in a new e-book, one tip I will leave with you is this:

You can find local bulliten boards at colleges, gas stations, etc and post your website link and a little description about your website, maybe even a small advertisement.

 

i use business cards in some cases. but the strategy depends largely on the type of business.

 

I use stickers, i shall order new ones in some days.
I order from Poland.

8x8 CM , 8000 stickers = $200 (Shipping to Sweden included)

 

door to door? i tried that when I started my first business

 

No stickers with glue on. I glue them on stuff around the city.

 

stickers work too especially where there is mass transportation or heavily populated metro area.. the place where I live.. barely any pedestrian

 

sticking stickers in buses and trains will invite the wrath of the law.., better do legal advertising.,u can distribute fliers to ppl,include thm in newspapers,paste thm in cyber cafes

 

I am a bit worried about that to, but i will have some things on my site saying.
"Fill in your Namn and Adress here to recive 50 blablabla.se stickers"

Then i can just say it was a random person that sticked them up on the wall.
