I agree with you completely, a good example is DP where if you have a useful article they will let you post a link with the right anchor text to your site. I am just saying other's dont because they dont like it when traffic goes away from their site. They rather you log on, ask a question for every point instead of a quality guide so you use the forum lots more... Thank god for DP, with out doubt the best forum I have used...
