    Hi,

I just wanted to talk a little about what you should do if you are really serious about IM and want to make a career out of it.

I highly recommend you spend time on this forum and others like it learning for about a month. Really get a good foundation of what it takes.

The next thing is the most important thing....Find a mentor. IF you have a mentor you will not make as many mistakes at the beginning of you career as you would without one. I am talking about mistakes that are going to cost you lots of money. Believe it or not you have alot to offer a mentor as well. Learn the in's and outs of IM and then become your mentors best affiliate. That would not only make him rich but proud.

I agree a mentor is worth gold! I still have to do the hard yards, but with a mentor I will! :)

Yes this is correct, when I first got into IM I was lost, until I got a coach, and within a few months I became very successful. Although it is hard to find a good coach, I actually have coached a few people, and it is great , but often times I am busy so usually I can only coach about 5 or 6 people at a time, I just recently started back, and have only 2 spots left as of now. So this is a great post, and I just want to say, if you are good at IM then you should consider maybe helping some people.

Yes, I agreed to that, just to add that a mentor is not necessary someone who you can get contact with, it can be anyone who you look up to or want to model after.

Well yes that is true, but we are really talking more about a personal coach. Someone who is actually making money on the internet now. Now I must admit that it is very possible to succeed with out a mentor(coach), but it comes much easier and faster with one. This is simply because you don't have to go thru the trial and error stage. I have seen many programs out now and most of them aren't worth it. They may teach you a little about article marketing. But they lead people to believe that they will make a full time living off simply writing articles without any other form of marketing. Now I haven't heard of many people to make a full income, just from article marketing. Well atleast not without having a squeeze page to build a list. Which that makes it article marketing and e-mail marketing. But hey I am just throwing my 2 cents in
Article marketing is the best place to start. I have seen many people get there first sale from it, just not quit there day jobs though.

What a nice post. Truly I agree with you. A mentor is what you need if you're serious to have a career in internet marketing.. It is important that you study and learn many things as that will be your foundation to success.. But a word of caution, many mentors are claiming to be a mentor but in fact they don't know a thing. So be careful when choosing a mentor.
