Yahoo hates me.

Well not really but this is my issue. I have few websites and I'm very satisfied with google results. My websites are nowhere to be found on Yahoo search. I'm not sure what's the secret? I submitted my websites to their directory and I just don't get it. I really start thinking Yahoo just hates me.
Any tips, ideas, inputs are much appreciated.

 

why care ? yahoo search is used by least number of people and doesnt bring that much of traffic

 

Or the're just being too lazy to add it to their DB

Yahoo has always added my website to their DB even when I have never tried to submit it.

 

Yahoo has twice the traffic of Bing.

 

lol, it's only about the 3rd biggest site in the entire world, but hey...

 

Well its 3rd biggest but the gap between 1st and 2nd is too much

 

Yahoo is not so popular, just take it easy , and focus on Google I think.
Maybe your site is not long enough to be noticed by Yahoo.

 

My website is about 5 months old. I'm not worried about it, I'm just trying to figure out what might seduce yahoo to index my pages. Until now he's been a complete enemy

Forget about them. Work on something else. They are going away in a few months anyways when Bing takes over so why waste your time.

 

Well Yahoo has more complicated Indexing structure than Google, although it index more rapidly than Google but if you are talking about Keyword Ranking in Yahoo, it is very difficult as compare to Google.
You will find some sites in top 10 in Google and those sites will not be even top 100 in Yahoo.

Well I can suggest you to go for Article Submission, Forum Posting and even nodofollow backlinks as Yahoo still loves them so you may try any of the service. Thanks

 

Yahoo is different than Google, and it's harder to get ranked high on Yahoo than Google. I wouldn't worry about it.

I would say it's pretty easy to rank high on Yahoo. All our sites have a top 3 position for almost all of the main keywords. It's all about content, meta tag keywords and descriptions, forced keywords, tags, domain keywords as far as i can tell. In our case, link building had very little to do with excellent rankings.

And Yahoo sends us decent traffic. While it is only about one half of what google sends our way, Yahoo traffic converts some 3 times better!

 

What about bing? How are your results compared to Google and Yahoo?

Search Google or Yahoo about information on how to optimize your site for Yahoo, I think the SEO for Yahoo is different than Google. I think some quality links would do the trick.

Most of visitors came to my site from Google, so, maybe Yahoo and Bing hate me too !

 

I doubt that Yahoo hates anybody. Hate is a strong word that is often used to freely.
