I know that most on this board are idiots, like the ones in this thread, but I am sure that there are still a few smart ones.

In order to make even close to that much, they can't "just pick one." It has to have a high commish rate.

"Pets" won't cut it.

This is not necessary. One already knows the target demographics. Acne products, health, wealth...for examples.

Too time consuming, and very hard to do.

It is not necessary either. Anything to do with money and health is a good start.

Over half of the people out there do not like squeeze pages. They will either just back on out or give a fake address to get in.

That results in A LOT of lost potential customers.

A good sales page along with free tips, samples, and, a link that goes to that report is what works well.

If, IF, that is true, could it be that you already have a big enough list from your site, wealthyaffiliate???

Bartering. Good point, but it is still very hard to find enough GOOD ones, along with them having a GOOD list to make even close to that amount you are stating.

It looks good down on paper, and it might be, but for many folks that that is bordeline if not spamming.

Many do not want to have e-mails from other sites other than from the ones they have signed up with.

AND, many webmasters wil not trade lists due to this fact.

Between squeeze pages not working and this one, I am afraid that this method isn't all that great.

Although you had a good point in there, I have this feeling you thought all of this up, or you read it somewhere without giving it a trial to see if it actually works.

And, please, do not say that you have and that it does. Only noobs with no brains will believe that.

- You send out "your newsletters" talking about "other webmaster's site"
- Other webmaster send out "his newsletters" talking about "your site"

This sounds nice and practical to me, but I can't comment much since I haven't actually tried it.

but to get a list in the first place you can barter for it.

However nothing will ever beat your own article marketing/ppc exploits/youtube.

Squeeze Pages are annoying sometimes it's true...BUT, even it is relevant you will see results.

Someone searching for advice on how to get back their ex WILL the vast majority of times sign up for a free surefire report.

In short this method works...yes it can be time consuming but your conversion rate will be so much higher.

Basically RELEVANT TRAFFIC ---> SQUEEZE PAGE---> OFFER VALUE (Report) + SUPPORT =====> Make Product Recommendations

 

Sorry, but that is just talk, and assumptions.

And not only having a squeeze page is a bad idea (among other things you have said), because so many do not like them, what yoes san suggested is even worse.

No offense, yoes san.

But, the only way for the ones who think different to know for sure is to try it to see for themselves.

Exactly, for me I've found creating a squeeze page that has a long copy full of content already, works well. You are giving them value before they submit their details. Then just drive super relevant traffic to that page.

In the niches I've been involved in this works.

Just look at Frank Kern...millionaire..how did he do it...by coverting people on his email list and launching products

Can you explain further how one get 10 forums in step1? I think I am not following at that point. And how does one provide squeeze page and a product of your own in step 2? How does one provide bonus in step 3 when one has not got any products?

 

With so many backing out of the site because they do not like squeeze pages, thus losing so many potential customers, I wouldn't use the words, "works well."
