What is my security if I sell one of my domains and accept paypal. If the buyer will use a stolen credit card or a stolen paypal account, paypal will take my money back? paypal has any protection for digital goods online transaction?

    Thank you.

What you may wish to do in the case of selling a domain is take the payment via some type of escrow service or direct wire. With Paypal, the buyer can do a dispute against the sale once you've transferred the domain, hence, you lose the domain.

If you must use Paypal, however, you can always send the buyer an invoice clearly stating the terms of your deal. You can include a simple clause such as the following to use as protection in the event of a dispute:

"As a condition of the sale of your domain name goes here, you, as the buyer, understand and fully acknowledge that this agreement is final. Remittance of any and all payments constitutes your acceptance of these terms. Further, you understand that there is no option for a refund under any circumstances, and once payment has been transferred, you take immediate ownership of said domain name. Failure to abide by the terms of this agreement shall constitute fraud, and all legal remedies will be used against you."

I think that clause should sum things up nicely, and it clearly protects you in the event of a dispute. You should also take note of the buyer's actions once you have submitted the invoice to them. If they show signs of hesitation or complain about your terms, then walk away from the deal. It's clear that they might try to scam you, so I'd stay away.

Also, I noticed that you mention a stolen CC or account. In this case, there's nothing you can do. If you're worried about that side of the spectrum, then you might want to have them pay you via Western Union or Money Gram.

    Good luck!

As with any business deals, there is always some inherent risk attached. The best thing to do is take extreme precaution by doing the deal with a trusted member at a good market place.

PayPal never favors seller in case of digital goods. You better take all the precaution before you deal with this buyer. Make sure he is trusted and he won't dispute against you or else you can use some other mode of payment in case you think this guy is bit fishy.

    Thanks

Paypal only have buyer protection , that is why you see people only accept paypal for small amounts as it can be chargebacked easily.
