A 3 Way Link Exchange below: A website --> B website C website --> A website B and C are both websites 1 person owns. The function of this is because a 1 way link is worth more than a 2 way link... Does that clear it up?
with so many free link building methods available out there, why would you want to spend time and efforts on link exchange? just build one way backlinks that is not only easier but also maintainance free. some sites will go dead and some will remove your link after the exchange so its hard to keep track of them.
Rather than link exchange, it never hurts to email others in your niche and ask for a link to your site because it provides a good resource. I've done this myself and have gotten some fairly decent links PR5+
3 way link exchange is not a very good idea bcz mostly people are giving you a link from the domain that has been a purpose for link exchange only................it will help you only to get some PR.................not ranking or traffic.............
I totally agree. There are tons of methods out there without involving maintenance of any kind. Let me give you a small example (don't take this as a S.E.O. rule) : - Write some articles - Place the articles on squidoo , hubpages , blogspot - use services like tumblr - use feedbite or any other similar service - get every link indexed faster posting it to Tweeter or any other similar website. This is a small example, it should be performed in every case on every website.
