Your blog offers a good bit of information and some basic seo tips (which is definitely good). It looks like you are getting some links to the page which is good, but from an SEO standpoint it is always going to be difficult to rank for the most pertitinent terms. Given that many SEOs dedicate their fulltime to making sure their site ranks and ocassionally will try some shady stuff to try to rank better you will struggle to appear on page 1 of Google SERPs for the term "SEO" simply because the term is just so competitive. However, I would say keep up the good work and maybe focus on a niche? E.g. "Beginner Tips for SEO" or something along these lines. Keep up the good work and maybe add a bit of attention to straightening out some of the advertisements on the top of the page.
