Hi everyone, adsense has gone a bit bad these days, nobody clicks, but also ads are not very targeted to my content! is this because I live outside U.S.? they don't have enough business here?

    Solutions?

it all depends on the niche and the region where the ads are being displayed. some niche do better during holiday seasons as seasonal marketers buy hell lot of advertising for them so if your niche is one of them, then you can expect a sudden drop in relevant ads, clicks, and earnings. other than that, adsense ads vary from time to time and so does the payout. just hang in there ....

Well, I get ads from some merchant sites I've been browsing. For instance I browsed several merchant sites for the new Asus Eeepc 1201N, and now I see a lot of ads with some merchants showing me a selection of netbooks for sale :)
Too bad for them, I wanted only the 1201N and I've already ordered it, it should arrive at my home tomorrow morning!

There is, place this code <!-- google_ad_section_start -->
    and this <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
between the body tags in your code. It should help display relevant ads, it helped some of my sites.

Sorry but my Adsense has been right on target. Double check your tags.

check your ad placement. Try by testing ad blocks at different locations.

This suggestion can be bad or good on how you use. So, use them wisely.

Solution - Read my advice on how to avoid public display ads. Same goes to have relevant ads. Hope this helps.

Please do not depend on adsense alone. Concentrating on adsense could bring you heartbreaks. So take your mind off adsense for now before you start clicking it yourself. Just an advice. Cheers.

Is the content of your site in English? It might be that Google's translator is making a mistake. Might want to contact Google's support team, they'll help you more than just guesswork.

it really depends. Sometimes if Google has yet to index that post, then it may show less attractive ads....

U will need to digg it, social bookmark ur posts :)

Anyways, it is a bit haywire ... sometimes i can get $13, other times I get half of it.

I'd say that you haven't opted out of the tracking cookie. This has been going on for a while where adsense will keep track of your viewing habits and often will show you ads based upon that rather than the content of the site you are on. This was one of the prompters for the privacy policy that we are all supposed to have on our sites (we all have that, right? :) )

I have disabled that on my site and the ads are targeted quite nicely. It's in My Account, look for this section:

Interest-based ads: Do not show ads based on user interest categories. Visitation information from my sites will not be used to help create interest categories.

ah I remember that option now, and I also remember thinking that it could be a bad idea... but google team assured us CTR would soar!
