Hey everyone just did a check on google.co.uk and Google Caffeine results are showing! Anyone else seeing this?
I have checked multiple keywords and its 100% Google Caffeine results. Web History is disabled and I am not Sign in to Google. Maybe its just a few data centers? btw... I am looking at google.co.uk and google.com (gl=us) form Vancouver Canada .
Here is a screengrab, www.yourcityoffice.com is now 5th for the keyword "office space" We were in 12 before Caffeine and I have many many more examples
Yep It's live! Only on certain servers at the moment -- but its spreading across the servers as we speak. How do I know? Referrer logs UPDATE The new caffeine IP: http://74.125.95.132/search?hl=en&q=Disc+Jockey Not all of you will be able to see the new caffeine results but most should.
Just checked the SERPs for some of my keywords on some data centers and it is similar to the Caffeine results I saw at the test data center that was posted on Matt Cutts blog. I believe its starting to be rolled out as well, but only a guess. Matt Cutts blog has some information here http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/google-caffeine-update/ on what Caffeine is and in certain cases it can affect your SERP, some will be positive some negative.
So to all those who have checked their SERP results in Caffeine, how is your ranking? Are they up or down?
I know because the results showing now are the same results that were showing at the caffine ip which is not removed. It is definitely caffeine. Matt cutts should be making an update sometime soon about it.
Hi, you must of been asleep, lol anyways these 2 links will tell it all. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/caffeine-update/ http://videos.webpronews.com/2009/11/13/matt-cutts-interview/ Peace.
Supposedly they have changed the search algorithm, and its more keyword based. they say they have made it harder for us to increase rank on our sites which I say thats bs but its google and they do as they please. Second it indexes more its fasters 6 out of 10 searches... when you try and search more refine searches like "dog is outside with cherry" instead of "dog" its pretty much a draw between the speed difference in the search query. What they have implied with this new search engine is that they want to make searching more live. So when news comes live its indexed in the search engine quickly. When news happens online its already instant if you ask me but they want more of a "Live search engine" not to be confused with the old live.com search engine. My thoughts are the only thing we need to worry about is: Is it going to be a huge pain in the a** working on SEO now Will your site rank go down (most people I talked to said it went up, so that maybe good news) Will see what happens as it happens. Google Caffeine is 100% not running in the U.S. yet. you may see new google spiders possibly but that doesn't mean that caffeine is running. Just means they are spidering your sites to get there databases updated. They have a developer edition to test the new caffeine out. Don't know the link off hand.
