If you are legitimate, no, nothing will happen.

Many busineses do this on a legitimate basis.

    This is routine.

But even then, it is very, very hard to get your domain revoked by your host.

why would you want to spam 1 million e-mails anyway? Nobody actually reads them. I always delete my spam folder without thinking about it.

Search Engines cannot see email...thus they will never see your SPAMS!

    Of course it can't.

But what does search engines have to do anything with it? Ugh.

As long as you don't keep sending e-mail to the same people over and over, you are just fine. It's the recipients who can get your mail server and or your hosting cancelled.

Besides, as long as you send it ONE time, "spamming" in itself is not a bad thing.

Again, if you keep sending it over and over again to the same persons, and if enough of them call in, yes.

Talk to your host for more details.

You do not need an offshore mail account. Just find a good service that can send that many.

But, that many does not need to be sent at once anyway. You could break it up into, say, four parts and send them off in a week's time, or in a month's time. Why in oine day???

But, please, be considerate by sending it only one time to each person. If you really have that many, that is.

I really don't know what will happen but I can tell you first hand the first thing I do when I open my email is delete stuff I don't recognized.

What ever you do don't promise that people will make millions of dollors on line. Say something real.

just sending one email per person

will be starting off smaller, say 100k per day, to test the waters....
