DP Threads as Google Backlinks?

hey Guys,

Do you have DP threads ( because of the signature ) as backlinks on Google? (link:url)?? I could see two threads as backlinks of my blog a few days before and it's disappeared now. What could be the reason?

Do you have any idea on this?

you can find out lot of backlinks through your DP Signature. just check on yahoo.com for backlinks you can find out a lot there

 

yeah you are right. Google doesn't show most links. But yahoo does.

DP links do count as backlinks but they count for very little in terms of link juice. You might get some decent referrals though.

 

Can you tell why the dp links are appearing as backlinks only in certain times?

 

Google has its own ways and there are many facets of it which are beyond a layman's abilities!
I use siteexplorer of Yahoo and it does show DP threads as back links... pretty consistently!

Yes in the past i also get Back Link from Google with DP Signature.

 

Google keeps updating backlinks. Try webmaster tool for this.

 

that's very true. We can't simply do analysis for this with Google I agree. I was simply asking though. But yahoo shows the results always.

Google will count posts from forums as a backlinks, but I think that links will not have big value, although it certainly helps a lot.

 

In Google Webmaster Tool, you could see most of the backlinks incl. those from forum.

 

May be I'm wrong. But I think popular posts may get good link juice.

Yes. Even Yahoo shows much..

 

DP has got PR 5 from the Google and it as got lots of member from around the world that why chances of getting backlinks are more in this forum.
