There are many pointers that determine website worth of any website. Most important is pagerank and alexa rank. Online tools use these parameters to estimate website worth. Agreed that they do not fully estimate website cost but they are important indicators of website cost.
I guess yourwebsitevalue.com is the best bet. I think it got some accuracy there, frankly there is no accurate valuation on a domain in the net as far as I'm concerned.
You can really estimate a site just by using another site. You need humans in order to do that. And this is an estimation of what worth a site, keeping in mind that a market value is when a seller is willing to sell and a buyer willing to buy. A site worth the last 3 months of NET revenue if there is 12 months of history. Ad 1 month per each 12 months thereafter. This is how I buy and how I sell, always. Sometimes, the market is not responding though. I recently put a site on Ebay doing $760/year and couldn't get $99 for it. And sometimes, a fool pass by and buy any crap for 12 months of revenue...
There are many tools on the internet to make a caculatation for your web or blog. Such as who is, websitevalue.just browse at google...........
And I just google websitevalue and got one of my site valued at $78...and its revenue is $600/month... See why you need a human and not a website to value a site???
Hey guys ! You can't get the real value of a site by using tools like that(this type of scripts don't show the reality). Website value is calculated very hard and you must analize a lot of things that can improve or decrease the value of a site. Also you must some notions about SEO and advertising. This thing must be learned and then you can judge the value of the site your self without using boring tools. There aren't many tutorials that can teach you this but I have discovered one tutorial that offers you the first steps in this problem.
I know there are many websites that calculate worth of websites, there is a new one too check it out Get Website Value you even get a backlink which most of those website wont give
your nofollowed link isn't much useful though. folks looking for alternatives to estimate site value, check out this site websiteworthchecker.com
No automated tool will give you an accurate price. A website to me is usually worth around 10 months of income. Of course you have to take other things into account, such as domain value, money invested, brand strength, influence and reach, customer loyalty, patents, etc.
I don't get too caught up in these value estimators. They are a feel good tool and are not accurate to the amount you can get currently. But if it makes you feel better about what you are doing, then more power to you. I think a more pertinent value is cashflow...how much are you making from your site is much more relevant.
