Just wondering what people do after they have posted a post on their blog?

    I do the following:

    - Submit post to Twitter
    - Submit post to Digg
    - Submit post to Facebook
    - Submit post to Stumble Upon

    What about everyone else?

I don't do anything apart from let nature take its course.
Submitting your own articles to Digg has questionable value.

I just ping the articles. No submission to bookmarking site.
Make comments on relevant blog posts to get backlinks. If I can find dofollow blogs on same niche, that will be great. If not, any relevant blog post will do. I try to make 10 comments for each blog post.

Personally, I don't do anything other than checking if the post published fine (i.e. no bad typo mistake, images displaying etc.)

Just the usual submissions to social sites, and if time permits, a few spun articles.

Well, I've a list of pinging services added in writing options that automatically syndicate the content. Other than this I must stumble a post, at times Digg and reddit it too, and sometimes Delicious and propeller too!

What do you mean? You re-write the article and publish it elsewhere?

Be careful with stumbling your own posts. I did it just a couple of times and got banned from Stumble Upon.

Thanks for sharing your part. Actually not SU but any network can ban you if you use it just for self promotion.... so better is to make healthy contribution there......
I normally stumble many pages daily that I find while either browsing or someone referred or so, and avoid stumbling too many of my own URLs too. Further adding a review to the page and sending it to friends for comments and stumble really works good!

I think it is a good idea to submit to the Directory Vault.

i have tired to submit to some directory, but no results. maybe my blog is not so good as to be listed there?
    I am a little confused.
And what i do now is just blog and then let it go...
maybe some relevant comments to the related blogs can do some help.
