Good PR doesn't mean your going to rank in the top10. You need to build more backlinks with anchor text pointing at the keyword your trying to rank for.

You should read some basic tutorials about SEO, it seems you think that a backlink with a high PR will automatically catapult your website into the top 10! That is not the case, there is A LOT more to it.

I already built(10-15) back links for this page with anchor text that is the same keyword i want and notice that 8/10 of the first results has zero links ...

Now PR does not play any important role in ranking, even you have PR 5 or 6 does not necessarily mean you will rank 1 st in SERP.

Page rank doesn't mean you will get instant traffic, backlinks, fresh content will help to get high traffic.

Pr is not the basis of good ranking. You need to get links using good targeted keywords,in order to get traffic from search engines. Also, optimize your site on-page.

Google does not see your site as authority for the niche you are on.

ok i reached the first page for hours and then conked out to the third page the next day.
    i have two questions:
i started to build backlinks to this page about 10days ago and the bulk of links build 4 days ago most of the links are indexed by google today, so how much time it takes after links indexed to start ranking well??
second thing my website is launched less than 4 months can this be the factor that put me down??

you need to be patient, it can take weeks or even months for backlinks to take effect. Just keep building backlinks, the more you get the faster you'll rank for your keyword.

PR and SERPs are not related. You want good SERPs which entails optimizing your whole website. Keyword rich text is a major factor. As someone else suggested, you need to study up on the current SEO trends and incorporate them into your website.

for why you don't rank well in google despite of high PR maybe because your targeted keyword has low backlinks and maybe lack of onpage optimization or offpage optimization, either of the two.

i know that it takes time but Google already indexed the pages where my links appear most of the links i created, so it supposed to work .or it takes time even after indexing?
