Planning to visit india and want to make an indian bank account whice can be used to withdraw funds from paypal .. now i want to say that i don't want to hide my real idendity. I want to open this with my real information as an foreign person. Can any one give any good suggestions about this procedure ? need good and constructive info specially from indian members.

you can open bank account in india with valid working visa.

and if you are going to india with travel visa then that is not possible to open account there.

I think you won't be able to open it as you are not from India.
Shift in India and then enjoy all the facilities. :)

Laws are strict. And I don't know how will you provide address proof with 2 guarantees. You can try in some private banks. I don't think it is possible in Indian Nationalized banks.

I do not think it would be possible to do the same in a private bank as well. You will be required to provide address proof and an identity proof for you for opening such an account in any bank.

You need to provide valid address proof, identity proof (indian) for that so at the end you can't open indian bank account just by visiting india.

    DON.

Hiding your identity and creating bank account is something against law. So think twice before doing this.

Except some banks that offer "NRI" bank a/cs like CITIBANK and HDFC; no foreigner bank a/c in India!

Indian Banking system is world class. Thats why PP approved withdraw to Bank account/credit card.

as you are neither Indian not Indian origin. Private Banks or Public sector Banks, are strict.

NRI means, an Indian working out side India. not a foreigner visiting in. you need a working visa, to open FCNR account.

    Hope this helps///

don't you have any banks in Bangladesh which are of Indian origins ?? I think you can open an account in such a bank and carry it forward to India.

Citibank/Amex are well known banks across the world, so if u trying opening an account in them in your country, u can try using them in India
