thought it was good at first but after a while it gets kind of repetitive. have the second one but just havent had a chance to play yet. heard it was good so well see
I was able to play 1 through all the way. The second one I was only able to play the first couple maps. I played the crap out of the online play, but I still haven't finished the chapters.
I loved the first one, but when Valve didn't give what was promised in updates, AND then went on to make Left 4 Dead 2 costing another 50$ I felt jipped.
I'd say that 1st part was better. There were only zombies, bullets and 4 survivors. And in the second part they made some mini-quests which are totally lame.
I love the fact that they are still going to release updates for L4D whilst releasing updates for L4D2 so you can choose your favourite and just get updates for that (or go for both)
Well some people love the sense of adrenaline they get from the fear of whats going to happen. I myself dont get bored by replaying the maps, I love it. If everyone hated repeating things we wouldn't ever buy DVDs would we because what's the point if you're only going to watch it once?
I have L4D since the day it came out and I still play it sometimes. Haven't tried L4D 2 it looks nice, but I don't like that the story has moved to the south...
I played a bit of a crappy port of L4D1 on the mac, and despite it being laggy and hellish, it was still a lot of fun... hoping to actually buy both of these off of steam once I have the cash and install bootcamp...
What are the melee weapons like? I've heard that they're amazing but don't know how useful they would be?
