Hello Guys, I have 2 years old website which performing well in Google suddenly it's down for every keywords and it's home page have PR 4 and internal pages also have PR4 but it's home page showing PR0, I have checked my complete site then I found it's internal pages have still PR 4 and when i open my site like http://www.mysite.com then it's showing PR0 and not index by google but when I'm open like this http://www.mysite.com/index.html then it's showing PR4 and index date 9 Des, after that I checked through Google Webmaster Tool it's showing robort.txt file missing, can you please suggest me what should I do i didn't change anything in my site. thanks Aryan
add robots.txt in your website and allow all robots.....................so your website can easily crawled by search engines.....................
May be Google is indexing both pages separately there for please do 301 redirection for http://www.mysite.com/index.html to http://www.mysite.com When you are doing marketing/promotion for this site have you submitted http://www.mysite.com/index.html?? or you have submitted http://www.mysite.com?? After doing this changes please wait for sometime to check the result.
I'm promoting this page mysite.com and getting so many back link on this domain and now google showing only my this page in there SERPS mysite.com/index.html and back link also for this page, my this domain (mysite.com) is not index by google and showing 0 back link for this domain is 301 redirect is fine for this?? I think i should use this tag (<link rel="canonical" href="http://example.com/">) on my this page mysite.com/index.html what you think??
