I too think its just a publicity stunt but by the writer as the film is already getting a great response , i had to watch a morning show as all evening shows were full lol.
Well if it's getting people talking about it then it can't be a bad thing, I hadn't heard of the film until this thread so whatever they're doing they're getting more interest in it

I watched 3 idiots yesterday and recommending that movie to every one who's like entertainment and also it's best for business starters learn lesson about never give up , have a target and lot of stuffs to learn. I wish that movie get more awards like tare sameen par got.
I think its a publicity stunt as the writer would get more sales of his book and producer/director would get more hype for the movie.
