most free auto responder services are crap, and I don't know of any that will hold 1000 subscribers. The best way to go would be to get aweber or getresponse.

You can sign up some of the trial accounts, and cancel them later.. but if you want to do more than one email campaigns you may need to sign up for paid account

I agree, the best way to go would be sign up to Aweber. Check them out. Their instructions are easy to follow.

Aweber is only a $1 trial for the first month. If you're not getting results you could always cancel it, but the feedback I've heard from people using it has been overwhelmingly positive

I've used it about a week or 2 myself now and personally like it

You could use aweber, getresponse, verticalresponse, constantcontact, etc. for sending email newsletters. You could also use mailchimp. It is free for up to 500 subscribers. (this rule may have changed in the mean time so check it out)

the old aweber price is up to 10,000 for under $20. I know they still have a reseller using that price. Way more affordible. Search for it.

you have to signup for a paid service to get a better performance. But you can get a little bit good service from trials too.

Aweber is the best option for you in this case.
