    Actually they are coming back. It is a long story but they dd not own their name for awhile and recently the company had a consolidation and they are starting fresh again as they still get around 12-15 million searches through their site a month.

    Yeah I have used Lycos before and I wonder what happened to them. It is going to be a good competition with Lycos being around again.

    I used to use HotBot for search. They're still around, but it doesn't look like they've updated the site since 1996.
