I comment on blogs and forums all the time you might get a little traffic, but It don't work. The way to go is link wheels, article submissions (Squidoo, Ezines) and directory submissions if you can get it, and natural link building..
i tried directory submissions and its not working good for me , blog commenting is working greast for other people i know i think i will try to focus on it a little bit btw what you mean by natural link bulding ?
link building is a combination of all these...yet i have marked my two best methods...social bookmarking and article marketing
Making excellent quality content and other people will link out to you naturally. Its not the easiest but its the most rewarding.
PR=public relationship ? how can we benefit from PR with seo ! i saw a video from seomoz about this but i didnt get exactly what they mean .
I also did reciprocal link exchange but I only limit it. I don't want more outbound links on my site.
I would prefer the following ways for link building Blog Commenting Social Bookmarking Forums Posting Directory Submissions Article Marketing RSS Submission
mainly blog commenting and forums. Forums for links to home page, blog commenting to get links to the blog post.
Same here, doing alot of commenting now a days, works great. When i start a new site i do a little link trading, directorie submission (alot), artikel submission and commenting. doing good..
I always do Directories & Articles Submissions,Press Release,Forum Posting,Reciprocal Link Exchange for link building. But The great way to build back links is by posting comments on posts with Page Rank of do-follow blogs, make sure you include a link to your website in the 'website' field when posting blog comments. Do-follow means that links from this page will count as back links and contribute to your Page Rank. If a blog is no-follow, your link won't count as back links and won't contribute to your Page Rank.
do you care whether its dofollow or nofollow or have a high pr or if they related or you just find blogs and post your comment ?
I thought that Google doesnt give much credit if your linking to your main blog or if you have network of blog? I wanted to try them too but I have read in some forums that Google calculate less in this method? As for me I am using different methods in link building I guess it is much more effective to use different methods rather than stick to one
1. Article Submission 2. Blog Comments 3. Twitter 4. Forum posts 5. Directory Submissions However recently i've started looking for dofollow sites, where the links actually count! I am pretty sure that most of my Blog Comments around are on not follow ones, as well as the links on Twitter! I heard if u get accepted in DMOZ that will bost your rank, but you can apply once, and you never know if you are rejected!
Forum posting, Article Submission, Social Bookmarking and Link wheel. Some I also comments high PR blogs only.
