I have the following domain names. There is a little income to them as I have started to do websites etc, but I do not want to put in the work so I would like to take on partner and split profit 50/50. I have the hosting etc, surely someone can design a few basic sites template them out and we can make a few dollars from 30 plus sites.

And if you're really going to take in a partner, make sure to have some kind of
legal agreement covering details like how profits are split, who owns what, etc
    etc and so forth.

If things don't work out in the long run, they can get quite...ugly.

The deal is really rather easy.

I own the domain names, I already do, so no dispute there. I currently have the hosting, and the accounts for adsense, and other advertisers.

What I want is a web designer, he can own all the code he generates. If he is any good he can design sites that bring in hits and thus generate money, that money will be split.

If the designer is really good and the income is great, I will, believe it or not, take less of a cut and provide more domain names.

A partnership is just that. If it works great, and the partner wants to take over everthing then, fine we sort out a price, 2* yearly income, and the designer can take over the entire thing.

I am looking to get out of owning domain names, these are not all I own, but these are not generating any income.

I have done cheap websites, and there is a little money coming in, so I know if someone actually cared about it, they could make some money.

Wow, i think that you would be better keeping this deal to yourself as you are going to need the money once Microsoft see that you are breaching their trademark.

It was only last night that i was reading a story about a student called Mike Rowe who made a play of words on his own name to get MikeRoweSoft.com, the guy was contacted and up before a lawyer before he was able to scratch his head.

Treading on someones toes is one thing but breaching the trademark of a company that has a reputation for been very very willing to press for compensation like Microsoft... thats just plain dumb!

I don't think people need to work for free, I think the domains are worth something and someone who wants to put in a little work can generate an income without having to buy domains and pay for hosting.

Also, a designer who wants to show his stuff, build up a portfolio of work, various topics, could do so, again without having to put out any money.
