How long did it take you to get a good amount of traffic from search engines?

I'd like to know how it took you to get what you consider a good amount of traffic from search engines for your targeted keyword phrase or phrases?

 

My website took around 9 months before sending good amount of traffic from search engines.

On my latest project, http://www.css3.info/, it took me only 2 weeks to get search engine traffic going, but that's not really fair, since i moved it from a subpart of my homepage to it's own domain... Took me a few months to be on #3 for the term "css3" in google though (first two being the W3C, thus unbeatable).

 

depends on keywords, for big keywords or google images it take ages , but small keywords can send traffic even from 10days.

 

I created an optimized page on my site for a keyword that was getting plenty of searches, uploaded the page, added it to my sitemap, added it to my sig (it is currently not there) and I recieved traffic from Yahoo within 48 hours. I am still getting about 100 UV per day from that keyword alone.

For my site as a whole though, it took me 7 months.

 

That is, you still get visitors to this page is not even spinning it more?
