Is there any problem in this?

    I have been advised by someone that it is not good to give a backlink to the homepage of a blog from individual posts. We must give backlink to other individual posts, category pages etc. but not to the home page.

    Is this true? What do you think about this?

    if you have backlinks from your post to home page then it will increase your home page popularity and if you have the link of post at home page then it will increase the popularity of post not the home page so minimize the outbound links on your home page...............
