2101 marks the start of a New decade Where do you see the World (politically) at the end of this decade, ten years on from today ? what about the the ongoing conflicts and wars and any new conflicts that may arise? what do you predict about them?
Tumultuous but not for too long. Censorship of the Quran. Hundreds of millions of people will depart from Islam. Victory over terrorism. New political attitudes towards more responsibility worldwide, or freedom with responsibility. Less influence from current power structures. NGOs will have more say. Last but not least the end of Newspapers and dramatical increase of online Citizen Journalism.
Hopefully a secular world with lot's of great new technology. We should also get rid of all nuclear weapons.
My Predictions war of terror will expand further and will continue to hunt down the world like a demon going in circles (that has already started with Yemen and somalia) that will eventually bog down usa, stretching it to its limits I see more destabilization in Pakistan and Afghanistan, situation will deteriorate further, usa will be in a catch22 situation it can neither leave nor stay Russia will again again emerge as a power and the declining power of usa will mean that it will no longer be the sole super power regarding isreal conflict, it don't expect much change situation will remain more or less same

Pakistan will continue to destabilize, with a race for the nucelar weapons. One reason for the US and UK being in Afghanistan is in the event of the terrorists taking over.

Unquestionably. If one is to believe the bible, the children of Hagar should have been slaves in the house of Israel. Maybe they can dig up the Ark of the Covenant and conquer their neighbors with a mere thousand men armed with swords. My money says they could do it without the Ark and 500 men.
My predictions for 2010-2020: 1) USA's dominant role in the world shrinks, India and China dominate world politics along with the US. 2) Anti Islamists sentiments in Europe increase and Europe becoming very less hospitable to them. The "multiculti" illusion collapses. 3) Iran is pro western and maybe also a democracy, turkey is less pro-western, possibly a revolution will occur. 4) Egypt and Syria undergo Islamic revolutions and chaos. 5) Israel & Palestine: A Palestinian state in the WB or Gaza or, A total civil war between the secular&practical vs. the Islamist&jihadist forces in the Palestinian society, or Israeli, American, and Japanese scientists manage to produce commercial nuclear fusion energy (what is now possibly only in lab conditions with non-commercial level of efficiency). As a result, the price of oil drops to zero. The Arabs countries, where the oil is the only source of income (and unlike Israel with the brain is the main source of income), define a new world - the 4th world, even poorer than the poorest countries of Africa, and the western "multicultis" don't give a damn anymore what Israel does with the Palestinians. 6) Israel wins another 5 Nobel prizes. Next year, Aharonov (of the Aharonov-Bohm effect) will win the the physics prize. He was nominated this year as well and I think that the only reason he didn't get it was because the Nobel committee thought that 5 Israelis in 4 years is just too much. 7) Tibet is still not free, but nobody cares. 8) Sudan, Somalia butchers all of the non-muslim civilians, nobody cares again. 9) Life expectancy raises above 85 in the western world. 10) World temperature average raises 0.05. 11) Cellular phones and new magnificent technologies make life as never before i.e. shopping, etc'. and more....

A historical moment! In 1940 many people would have said that landing a man on the moon is "too far fetched". In my analysis, nuclear fusion power is the only solution that will be able to provide all of humanity's energy future energy needs within the environmental constraints. It is not a theory. The science has nearly matured to a degree of "working technology". There are only several obstacles that one needs to overcome. The first working fusion power plant is under construction in a MEGA international 15$ bn effort. Nuclear fusion energy will replace oil completely probably already by 2030, my guess. The west must prepare itself for another HUGE muslim emigration wave, or, MAYBE: the sand clock is ticking for the Muslim countries to reform: more science, more technology, more humanity, more education, less Islam, less terrorism, and less Mohammedanism. Unfortunately I work in a different field but I watch the developments closely... from the days of the RIP Tokamak test reactor all the way to ITER. I think that by the end of this decade that the people who are currently "live and let live" will have grown to openly despise Islam due to one of two things happening, either; 1) Muslims will continue to breed at an alarming rate, meaning more will move to Western countries to avoid famine. or; 2) There will be some massive war within Islam between various Muslims with ever-so-slightly different beliefs who decide to kill each other over it.
