Nope, you can change it a million times and they wont care.

ClickBank doesn't have an approval process. Basically, as soon as you fill out the application you can start making sales.

Yes, you don't need to get a approved.

You can promote whichever way you want. You don't need a website or blog to make sales.

You can promote ANY way you want, as long as it isn't CL (yes, I've seen people get banned from ClickBank that way). You don't have to give out any information in advanced, except for your payment info.

    • Start a Blog
    • Start a Website
    • Write a bunch of articles and mass submit them
    • Buy banner rights to popular websites
    • Buy pop-up rights to popular websites
    • Put the link in your signature here on DP
    • Put your link in your signature at any other forum you participate in
    • Buy the rights to display your banner in other peoples signatures
    • Make a bunch of youtube videos demonstrating the product, then put your affiliate link in the discription
    • Write a good review for consumer reports
    • Print up a bunch of flyers, put 50 cents into the paper machine on the side of the road, and slip the flyers into all papers. (Don't know if the companies would get mad or not)
    • Mail the product to people on an opt-in mailing list. (research this first)
    • Run around NYC handing business cards out to people
    • Invest in a television commercial
The possibilities are endless, and that's what makes ClickBank so appealing. As long as you don't get reported for doing something stupid like spamming Craigslist, or maybe my newspaper idea above  , you can do whatever you please. Then, if you realize your campaign isn't working, you can completely change it, website and all, without having to contact ClickBank and tell them what is going on.

The other thing that's cool about them is you can sign-up as soon as you finish reading my post here. You don't need any website or anything, just sign up and experiment. I don't believe they cancel accounts just for low or no sales, and even if they did, just make another account. I've got two using the same IP simply because I forgot the password to the old one.

CPA is also good, but you can make a killing with Clickbank if you know what you're doing.

ClickBank is good for practice. You will gain a lot of experience, and should probably be the first stop for all people just getting into the business. Since it is as easy as getting a free e-mail account, your ClickBank account is pretty much disposable. This way, you don't have to be so hesitant when trying something new as you would with a more "professional" affiliate or CPA program. Plus, you won't get bored with it because your making some money.

Even if you wanted to switch to CPA marketing after awhile, building a ClickBank campaign will give you a better understanding of marketing. Getting into some CPA programs is challenging if you don't know what your doing. A lot of the programs have even been known to call you and ask you questions such as "how is your website being advertised, how long have you owned your website, how many visitors do you get a day, etc".

Amazon has its pros and cons.

    Pros:
    • There are more products
    • The products are of higher quality
    • They give very good deals
    • Amazon is trusted by most people
    • It is a more professional looking place to buy something from
    • Whatever your website relates to, there is probably a product on Amazon to sell

    Cons:
    • Its not as easy to get into
    • You have to pay $70/year to be an affiliate
    • You can get banned from Amazon and its harder to create a new account
    • Your commision rate is only like 7%

Definately suggest ClickBank to a Newbie, something to toy around with. Amazon requires a lot more work, but it is better once your business is established.

Try taking your profits for ClickBank and invest in things you would need for your business. Such things as

    • Your own domain name (.com or .net, people trust these more)
    • Paid Web Hosting
    • A business computer, something that has only the software you need to run your business and nothing else. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something you can pick up for $100 or so that's capable of running an email client (outlook express), ability to manage your web page, and maybe an office suite. This will enable you to work a lot more efficiently, as the computer will probably be more stable and optimized than your "home" computer, and you'll have a lot less distractions. Plus, you'll be able to set up shortcuts to different things that only have to do with your business, and nothing else.
    • The Amazon admission fee
    • PTC Advertising
    • Really cheap VOIP service, like MagicJack. For $20/year, you can give your partners that number, and be able to always pick up saying "Hello, you've reached [company name]. What can I do for you today?". It will make you look a lot more professional in the eyes of affiliate and CPA companies.
    • A beer or cigar to celebrate your success
    • Maybe a new comfy office chair

Once you have that all done from money generated from ClickBank, then you'll probably be experienced enough to switch over to a company like Amazon.

Clickbank is better IMO, and you don't need to focus on Amazon at all, and their 5% commission. The potential money to be made out of clickbank is endless. Clickbank is not recommended just for newbies, it is recommended to everyone, and there are quite a few big earners out of clickbank.
