Now I am in the process of developing a website based on wordpress framework. This will be a static site. I would like to give it's front page a very pro look and feel and don't want to have any wordpress page/post, header or footer on the front page. Is it possible to have an html page/flash outside of "wordpress system" as the first page of the site? Rest of the pages/posts can from wordpress itself. To be more clear; One way I was thought was to have wordpress installed on the inner level instead on the root of domain. So instead of having wordpress on ajonit.com I can have ajonit.com/blog and then I can easily have some flash page on the root. My question is can I have a wordpress installation on the root itself and at the same time have front page(which is in flash) coming from outside the "wordpress-system". Trust my question is clear.
Actually WordPress first looks for a home.php file within the theme subdirectory before serving the front page of a blog. Best bet would be to create the flash and have it in the theme's home.php file. Reference: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy
@SonnyCool: I think that is what I wanted - more or less. Thanks. I "ll explore option of templates. Next I have to search for a good flash designer Thanks both of you above + repped.
