    Hi

I have a domain(not site, only domain) with PR3. And I have a site with PR2. Now, if I redirect the domain to my blog, will my PR increase?

If so how long can it take? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Ok, what if I install wordpress on it and give it only one outbound link and that to my blog. So all the link juice pass to my blog only and increase my PR?

Yes, if you link from SITE A to SITE B, site B will earn backlinks(depends on how many indexed pages has SITE A)

No, you can't transfer the PR directly from that domain. The only thing you can do is to place a link in your domain to that PR2 site and let the site to enjoy a bit PR juice.

Yeah I think the only thing you can do is pass the link juice of your site A to your site B. You can really transfer PR from one site to another.

if you do a 301 redirect from one site to another you are passing link juice to that destination site. however that does not mean that dest site would get a PR at least the same as the source site.

It`s not a transfer, backlinks that had SITE A, will NOT transfer to SITE B.
Site B will earn just backlink because site A has a link to Site B.

Better is to place a link to your PR2 site.

Make a 301 Redirect.. That'll preserver the PR and the link juices from old domain.

That's correct, if your redirected it, google should realize that you have different websites, and will consider the one you redirect to is fake, so one of or both will get 0 PR

Why are you so worried about PR. Yes it has it's uses but mnay of my sites have PR0 and yet attract 10,000+ visitors per month. My method is simple, build backlinks slowly and organically, create quality content, update my site daily. Don't try to fool google or other serach engines, we may think we are clever doing this and we may get a short term boost but in the long term Googl is much smarter given that they have some of the brightest minds in the IT world working for them.
