What is considered bad neighborhood in SEO ? I have been hearing about them but I dont have any idea what those means and what are examples of it ?
Bad neighbourhood means you have incoming links or outgoing links from your websites to other bad websites may be porn,fraud, etc sites that have been reported.
correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think it means incoming links per se as one has little to no control over who links to you. It's more about linking to dodgy sites like said earlier, sites that have been reported, fraud etc
There are still controversy over it that whether sites linking to you does counr as bad neighborhood but when it comes to google you just can't predict them
The controversy will still keep on going but I would say that both the website linking too and linking from will be counted for bad neighborhood.
