    Hello,
Recently i am facing this weird issue with gmail.
Receiving password reset request mails from gmail to initiate process of password rest to my mailbox daily twice or thrice.
I am safe with my account with a strong password, mobile phone security activated, strong security question and also a secondary account on a private domain. However all these dosen't keep me assured from not getting hack.
I also use secure https connection.

I viewed souce of email and it's coming from gmail source, so someone is entering my id in password reset field daily, and it's coming to my secondary mailbox.
Is there anything i can do about it? Maybe ask gmail to block the ip of the user?
Is there any way of contacting google for accounts related issues?
Also, Will my account be affected in any way, if these misused reset mails keep coming?

This often happens to me and it's quite safe to disregard the messages if you have a strong password. It's because Gmail automatically relates account name A to account name B if they are very similar. For example (and it is a completely fictional example), I might occasionally get 's email when my address is actually . In theory you shouldn't be able to make almost identical account names like that, but it sometimes happens.

I don't think it's coming from gmail. because it's not always coming at the same time. it's coming at night yes. But yesterday it came at 2AM, whereas today at 10 PM. earlier it even came in the morning at 6AM.
So i am sort of sure it's intentionally being sent by someone.
is my account prone to any sort of suspension due to repeated fake tried of password reset. Anyone knows?

That might be the work of some of those Zombie (Malware infected) computers and bots. Probably, you or someone tried to sign in to that email address on a infected computer. Even if you email Gmail about the issue, I think, You won't get any reply from them (do they respond to free email account queries or is there any email address offered to contact them?? I don't think so). Just ignore those emails.

I know i can ignore, but the question is if there are chances of suspension for misuse of password reset mails.
I did call Google Today, But it was a holiday, so they asked me to rmail.
The mail came with an auto response saying they don't deal with gmail issues. Anyhow, I've remailed them to consider the case. lets see what's next. else i'll be calling on monday.

The thing is, this can happen to anyone. Your rival or someone may just keep entering your id in pass request id form and you may be getting repeated mails. So finding a solution is important.

Any google staff on here? xD
