Sponsored Tweets allows Twitter users with tons of followers to promote products and get paid for it! I find that this service makes a lot of sense, but I don't think it's practical for making a decent amount of money. Anybody use this service and can give feedback?
just started also, I'm looking for related forums to ask some questions but just found this post (by searching on Google)
I have made a few hundred with them on my personal twitter account with 7k followers. Its ran by IZEA, great guys (can't wait for izeafest 2010!). I would check them out if i were you
Yep .. just read this blog, wasn't bad http://joshlam.com/2009/11/ad-ly-vs-sponsored-tweets-twitter-advertising-showdown/ Hey, thefreebielife, can you give us some tips on how to set the price on sponsoredtweets ? reduce it by how much for example ? thanks //
Exactly. Might be fine for certain businesses/industries if the advertising is highly relevant and will benefit followers, but I'd not want to risk losing followers.
This is absolutely wrong. If anything i gained followers from people retweeting the sponsored tweets.
The price not only depends on the amount of your followers, but what niche they are in. If you have an account like mine, many "affiliate marketer" followers, you can price accordingly based on that. But if you don't have a set niche of followers, you will be getting a lot less. Start high, then drop your price accordingly. Jared
