Hello, Maybe a very basic question but we all are here to share. Suppose i have a site www.example.com . Based on simple HTML files and links no dynamic content. i want a seo company to optimize it. I go to their website and place order they get back to me. Now do i have to provide them access to my HTML files? and all the files i.e images, text ? and they optimize it (On-page SEO) and after that they go for Off-page SEO Do i have to give them access to my source code? please anyone who knows OR owner of any SEO Firm reply!
Well if it is just html then anyone can easily see you source code using a browser. To do on-page SEO they would need access to your html files so that they can edit them putting in meta keywords, description, title etc etc. They could tell you to just paste a certain bit of html in the right places but I highly doubt many companies would offer that. They prefer to just go in and do it themselves. Hope this helped
