Yes and Indian team should play better as we know we were knocked out from World Cup thanks to Bangladesh so any day any team can beat India.

 

Well i too hope india will win the series and we get close to australia to get #1 position in odi soon.

Yes and we also not ignore Bangladesh too as they have home advantage and they surly work hard to get something from this series!

 

I am wondering why BCCI could not rope in some other team instead of Sri Lanka for this tri series. I mean... we just had a 5 match ODI series with them and what is the fun playing with the same team in the same format...again?

New Zealand never keen to play too much matches.

So I do not think that any good team left.

Plus BCCI is not hosting these matches.

 

Reason for New Zealand is not acceptable at all from their board.

Yes but we all knows they always have problems with players too which seems to be a reason for them. They even not traveling too much in Asia as their records are also not impressive here.

 

yeah its boring to again see india and sri lanka playing again and again but here bcci cannot do anything as the bangladesh board decides the teams for the series.

 

The tri series has started today with Sri Lanka playing Bangladesh. I wonder why OP omitted the matches of Bangladesh Vs. Sri Lanka from the schedule list in the first post!

Yeah match is already running now , looks like bangladesh will probably have a low total here , i guess less than 250.

 

Well I think Bangladesh did good job after early shock, we know they can't win the match but they show some good fights to make 260 runs on scorecard.

It is a very good toss to win by srilanka. Its a decent score made by bangladesh but in-form dilshane and sangakara finish them off.
