Is there any lists (free) of do follow blogs to comment on or is there a good way to find this out?

What's your purpose? Adding links to do-dollow blogs manually won't work, so you have to set an objective first and then try to find the solution.

It's really hard to tell if a blog is dofollow with no human interaction, otherwise I'd be filtering lists like crazy.

Actually you can find a lot of dofollow blogs & forums list by just searching in google, but manually finding is a difficult task.

Use some SERP scraper with the ability to check for tag "nofollow" in the scraped websites' content...if it's present it's well, nofollow blog, if not then it's "dofollow". I don't know if they are any free scrapers like that though...but I think you can develop iMacros script for that too.

Check out followlist.com. It has a great collection.
Some of the links are not working.

Thanks for the advice, Ive registered with google with relevant keywords for newly listed blogs etc. I get a list every day of new blogs with my keywords in there which seems pretty good.
