    Few questions:-
    1. How long did you achieve this ?
    2. Did you do SEO work on your or you hired some one ?
    3. What about content building ? That is done by you or you outsourced it ?

    (1) Took me about two years of experimenting and building sites. The first year I didn't make much at all, but I started making around $30 per day by the second year and then I pushed it up from there.

    (2) I do all my own site design and building, so the on page SEO is done by me. I will hire out backlink building, social bookmarking and blog commenting etc. It's cheaper and saves me time.

    (3) If it's a small site, I'll generally create the content. If it's a larger site, I'll create content and hire out some of it. Or, I'll automate the content with some Wordpress plugins. This is the easiest way to do it.

For any site to work, SEO is a key right. Is there something specific we need to know when it comes to On page SEO. I am sure you have learnt a lot from DP about SEO, are there any specific pages or threads here which you might have bookmarked which are related to SEO of your site that got your sites where it is now. This would really help me as it confuses me to go through so many posts and i would appreciate if someone tells me about something which is tried and tested.

I suggest all of you read this. http://www.wickedfire.com/traffic-content/6087-wickedfire-guide-seo.html

However a warning. If you go sign up at WF and start asking dumb questions, you will get abused and probably banned. I'm telling you that right now so you don't wonder why. That forum is not for making posts like "I got a $2.34 click on Adsenze to day". I suggest anyone serious about SEO should read everything on that site before posting anything.

Yes it is..and why is that amazing if I might ask?

Oh and yeah, I make about $800 per month with Neverblue, which isn't a lot for a CPA network, but I haven't been doing much with them lately.

Yes one cannot start making money like this from Day 1. I just added adsense in my blog and can earn only a cent a day. :(

Congrats for you important achievements, keep up the good work !

As traffic is most important factor (along with CTR) I wonder if you can present us average traffic per day for all your sites just to make an impression. (if the figures are the one from adsense screenshot just disregard this question).

On the other hand I wonder if after SEO you have sites ranking in top 10 (maybe 1 ?) for some keywords, if so I understand why you have so much traffic.

Also, does your site have content generated by you or by your visitors/members?

What costs of operation do you have, because this is also a factor ?
    - hosting
    - developing
    - advertisments
    - etc.

Finally I want to say: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010, be it be more prosperous and good for all!

I'm generating around 80,000 ad impressions per day with around 4000 clicks on the days I make $500+. Around 15,000 unique visitors per day combined.

As for my operation. pay $350 / month in server costs. 2 dedicated and a couple shared. Probably $50-100 a month in domain name purchases. $500-600 a month in promotion, buying content, link building etc. $100 a month for the SEO tools I subscribe to. And another $100+ a month in misc. expenses. My overhead isn't too bad really. If I'm working on promoting a new project, I'll spend a lot more on advertising, link building etc.

Happy New Year to you guys too.

Would you be able to share the links to your AdSense sites? I'd like to take a look at ad placement and some other non SEO aspects. I have way more than 15,000 uniques a day yet way lower an income from AdSense than this. Thanks a lot ;)

Sorry, I'm not going to do that. However I will tell you this. the 300x250 square performs best in my experience. Sometimes putting 2 squares right next to each other is a good way to go. Never put more than 2 ad units per page. If you do, you'll be showing too many low paying ads, and you earn crap per click. Blending the ads with your site is not always the best way to go. Sometimes you can blend too well, and the ad's get lost in the content. Sometimes using a red text ad will draw enough attention to get a lot of clicks. Just keep experimenting.

If have over 15,000 uniques per day and you're not making much, your niche sucks, or your ad placement sucks. Find the problem and fix it.

Another tip, forums & blogs generally do lousy with Adsense. Informational sites do well. Product sites can do well too, especially if you have a review site that has product information. Your ads will usually be targeted very well for consumer type products.

    ok, these impressions are impressive.

however, I have noticed that you only earn around 12 cents/click. that is not very high.
but you compensate it with your high ctr of almost 5%, that is a good number.
where exactly do you place this 300x250 ad? on the top, middle?

moreover, you said that you have 50 sites but only from 3 you get 90% of your income.
this, in principle, shows a success rate of just 6%!
so, on average we have to build 17 sites to get one winner.

    the other question is:
do all the other 47 sites also have top SE rankings? if yes, then this would mean
that they do not generate too much traffic to get enough income or clicks.

what do you think aboout nofollow links?

how in the world shall we get 20,000 links :0???

I have good success with the 300x250 directly above, or integrated with the content. Also in the sidebar, above the fold is a great place too. Especially if you make it look like it's part of your menu bar.

Like I said before, my main niche isn't the highest paying, but I have pretty good traffic and CTR which helps make up for it.

I have about 50 sites running adsense. Many are just sites that I do nothing with. Lots of these are sites that were just complete failures. Sites that I started out learning how to use Adsense. Some still have some ok SERP's, but they were in niches that didn't get much traffic. I'd say of the 50, I consistently work on 6-8. 3 of them are the biggest earners, and they're on autopilot with #1-#5 rankings for lots of excellent keyword phrases.

The big earner sites have 50k+ backlinks. Directories, links on authority sites in related niches and subjects. Sitewide links on some huge related content sites. Blog comments. Everywhere you can think of getting links, I try to get them. I'm fine with nofollow links, since it's mainly a page rank thing, and I don't give a crap about pagerank. A nofollow link on an authority site is still a link, and I'll take as many as I can get.

you are getting hot now. I had started a thread about this topic where I wanted to hear the
view of others concerning the serp effect of nofollow links. look what mostly newbies told:

Yeah, these idiots who think a nofollow link has no value are just plain ignorant. Google may not lend any weight to the link in terms of page rank, but I still believe there is value in nofollow links and SERP's, even if Google wants to tell everyone otherwise. Does this mean anyone in their right mind would say they don't want a nofollow link on CNN or MSN? Hell no. Anyone of us would take a nofollow link on site like that. Number one, Google isn't the only search engine people use, so there is possible SEO value for Yahoo and Bing. Number two, you will probably get some traffic from it. Either way, I'll take "good" nofollow links all day long, in combination with good dofollow links.

Thanks for taking time to answer my/our questions.
I agree if you take time, invest energy and time into one project eventualy it will pay off, but all is done step by step while learning and dedication.
Also one important part is to offer something back to the users/visitors of your online service/page.

Do you also code? I mean does your website main based on content (pure information/articles etc) or/and also on code, functions that make something in return for the user ? (maybe this is not helping but it is my curiosity)

Wish everyone a good adsense year 2010 with more such results!

First off, congrats on your success so far, may it continue through 2010 and beyond.

Secondly, now that MFA sites go against the AdSense ToS, don't you fear losing your account by automating content? wouldn't it be best to replace AdSense with something else on the sites that don't do that well and just keep AdSense on the top earners?

    Cheers

Thanks. I don't worry about going against Adsense TOS because I'm not violating any terms. The sites with automated content still provide the user valuable content, information and tools. There are actually other products to be viewed and purchased on those sites, in addition to the Adsense. So these sites are not MFA, they are like any other site that hosts Adsense ads.

Wow that is quite impressive. $500 a day is nothing short of realistic and amazing. I've got a few sites going but only doing about $8-$12 a day during good months.

However your impressions to #of clicks is pretty good. One of my site gets over 1.2Million impressions but #of clicks is only 5000 clicks, would love have any tips on improving the clicks on my site at www.playmadgabonline.com
