    1. Find the category that suits your site
    2. Submit it
    3. There is nothing more you can do; move on; forget about it.

    My advice: don't even bother to submit there.
    If you couldn't even find the submit page and the submission terms... once you'll find yourself in the front of the submission form you will even probably misspell your own name...what to say about the correct category & title, etc.

    PS: don't blame the editors ;)

    I've tried submitting there several times. My plan was to continue submitting at regular intervals, but on reflection I think that it's probably just a waste of time.

    @Pakiisp...

    I wouldn't hold my breath. My personal experience would suggest that you won't get listed. I've tried several times without success.

    Please let me know if you suceed.

    Good luck!

    @Pakiisp...

    I'm no expert, but my own experience is that I've submitted several times and never been listed. I hope you have more luck than me, but I get the feeling that the vast majority of Dmoz submissions do not get listed.

    I'm sorry - I don't know why. Maybe other members will be able to give you a reason.

    Good luck!

    Submitting to dmoz is really a waste of time, it may take months for your website to be reviewed and get a rejection email.
    Just search the forum, there are many other good Directory sites that will list your website fast.

    lol !!! You do realize that every time you resubmitted, you just overwrote the previous one with the new date. If an editor sorts by date (most do), you just kept moving yourself to the back!!!!)

    Start your own. You need about 3000 volunteer editors, a good backer, need to spend all your spare time working on it and when you reach about 5 million sites listed, hmm somehow don't think you will make it past the 5.

    Great to tell other people how to spend their spare time tell them how badly they do, go try creating a DMOZ of your own if you don't like ours. Strange Google and hundreds of downloading sites do seem to lke DMOZ though!

    @Agent000... Bummer! I understood that if I didn't get any listing or response that I should resubmit after a month or two. Yay me : |

    Where did you get that understanding from? You would never have got it from a DMOZ editor or in any DMOZ documentation!

    If someone told you that, then shoot them, as they harmed your chances of getting listed.

    Select the appropriate category like Computer > Internet > Blog And you will see the ADD URL at the top.

    Really? I have never seen an ADD URL at DMOZ! I have seen a link where members of the public can SUGGEST a URL - there is a very big difference in perception between the two and the expectations that should go with them.
