Ok i want to know if this has happened to other ppl.

the first night i got 33 clicks (adwords) and made five sales yay!

but ever since then i have gotten more than 250 clicks (like 300$ i spent >:[)
and have not made a single sale, i have checked all the things i thought was wrong, but everything is just how it was the first night.

Am i just too stupid to work this thing, or is there a possibility i have made some sales but not received commission, or is it something entirely different,

so i tried a new product an acne removing product, i spent 100 dollars today for about 75 clicks, and again not a single sale.
    (my hoplinks are correct)

this is not good for my budget, and i dont know what to do, so i am going to rely on your guys expertise, maybe i should just say good bye to affiliate marketing before i get into hard debt lol which i kinda already am now

There are a lot of factors on your end that we can't see, and so it is hard to say exactly what happened. Clickbank does however have periods when sales do not log, for one reason or another. That could have been your problem.

You have too little data do draw any real conclusions. If you don't have the capital to continue PPC testing, then look to inexpensive methods.

How and when does Clickbank not log sales that anyone has made?

Does this happen because of poor tracking on CB behalf?

    First off,

    STOP SPENDING MONEY ON ADWORDS

    second off,

    SCRUB YOUR CLICKS
in other words put the price tag in the title, you wan't people to click that are willing to pay..

    That is all :)

Its just really hard to profit from ppc. But, his tips are right. If you put the price in your ppc ad. It will lower your clicks to only those who are willing to pay, which may help.

As already mentioned, make your ads specific. Add price and a clear description, you don't want as many people visiting your site as possible. You want people on your site who are really interested with a high chance of sales.

You'll get less clicks for sure, but atleast you won't be wasting money on people who didn't buy anything at all.

It's a big mistake many people make. They always want "More visitors!"

You don't need many visitors, many visitors are useless for any business. What you want are buyers, and most people tend to forget that. In your case, clicks don't say anything.

Yes, sometimes, but that's just one of many possible reasons that can prevent affiliates from being paid the commissions they might otherwise have made. The most common reason is that they've chosen to be affiliates for a product for which the vendor has a "leaky" sales page (opt-in, free trial, or other contact details). The second most common reason is the various types of anti-spyware software that people increasingly use on their computers these days, some of which (as Clickbank are so quick to point out, of course, because it makes it "not their fault") interfere with cookies. But there have also been instances of people seeing the affiliate's ID on the order-page, buying, and the affiliate still not being credited due to failures within Clickbank (these commissions go to the vendors instead, which is why many vendors paying 75% commissions say that, overall, doing so costs them only about 55% rather than 75% of the affiliate sales, because sometimes the affiliate simply isn't accredited with the sale for reasons unknown and undiscoverable. The affiliates who allege that Clickbank are "shaving sales" and are dishonest just don't know what they're talking about. Their missing commissions have gone to vendors, not to Clickbank.)

This statement is completely untrue. That is all I am going to say. I may be new to this forum, but I know what I'm talking about.

You could of just gotten lucky when you got the 33 clicks and 5 sales. Traffic can be like that sometimes.
But if you didn't make any more sales after a couple hundred dollars worth of clicks then something is wrong
    with your campaign.

Profiting from PPC and Adwords is a lot harder than it looks. If you are new to it, be ready to spend a little money and time experimenting and tweaking your lp or site.

Make sure you are laser targeting your keywords (buying words) and demographics.

I agree with them above, in most cases adding the price to your add will help eliminate window shoppers.

Also, watch your competition and see what keywords they are using. If you see a add on a certain keyword for
a length of time it's pretty safe bet that they are making money, but then again there are many variables that
    come into play with ppc.

    good luck!

Here's a little tidbit from my camp to maximize your spend...

    1. Turn off night owl clicks (say 3am to 8am), most people are not in a buying zone (then again for infomercial types of products it's sometimes the BEST time to advertise so perhaps test).

Don't add 50+ keywords/phrases, instead = Use your keyword tools, if you're doing adwords, USE their tool to find your keys. Now go over them and ONLY keep the top 8-10 best (those that look like real buyers would click, forget the rest for now). Tight keywords grouped together, meaning all the keys that start with 'g2' should be under eachother together. Using 3-5 word combos with long tails will work best for the cheapest cost per click. If you cannot get volume, only then should you start to go broad with your keylist. Make sure each word gets a good QS and is used on your ad itself, and on the lander or if going direct use the phrases/words they have on the page.

    2. Do NOT put 'free' anywhere in your ad or in your keywords, you will not target real buyers, and those just lurking for free info will click your ad a lot, wasting your clicks.

    3. Put The Price - If someone sees a price, only those interested in potentially spending are going to click it, the rest won't-saving your ad spend. If not the price - put something like 'One Low Fee' or 'Money Back Guarantee' < Indicating that it is NOT in fact free.

    4. Utilize the content network with 2 campaigns, no search network. If you're getting killed after a few great initial sales phases, turn content off - you landed your ad in a pool of good buyers, but it's the same daily/weekly traffic for the most part so your new ad/offer just maxed out.

    5. Split test EVERY campaign, if you are targeting different countries, split test each country. You should always have at least 2 ads fighting eachother, and always tweak them, always - at least until you find what converts best. Once you do that, start another campaign and duplicate profitable efforts - potentially start other ppc avenues. "The general sequence is to test/tweak/eliminate/duplicate, this formula is what I follow and once I'm duplicating my main campaign is automated and I focus on my new ones".

Cheers and don't go bonkers on your spend right away if you're limited - test first, prove profit, prove consistency, then scale.

    N.

I don't usually post but I'll add something here.

250 clicks is barely enough to test 1 keyword on 1 offer. That's why you really need to know what you are doing and have a cash down, because your going to spend a lot along the way. I'm guessing you did not track conversion so far and you dont know where those sales were coming from. 90% of your keywords may be useless.

I would say stay away from PPC - you will be dead in a few weeks if u dont know how to play the game. Beside of this Google is changing their rules so quickly, that from one day to another your ad doesnt appear or your keywords are way to expensive.

I would focus on article and forum marketing !

I would just like to point out that your paying WAY to much per click. I usually won't pay any more that $0.15 per click.

According to the clicks,it is hard to say exactly what happened.
If you get 200 clicks but no sales,I suggest you to stop adwords campaign.
