    My site has only been live for 5 weeks and I see it has gone from a PR 0 to PR 2 already - Is that normal or are Google handing out PR like candy these days?

    I had a nice boost from 0 to PR2 in two weeks since buying the domain since I have been using a new method of SEO. Was a nice suprise, but we shouldnt focus on PR though, its just a measure of e-peen in my opinion. If you can pull the traffic, that is what matters.

    3 to PR 4 for my webmaster forum. another got PR4 from 3 as well. Google seem to have become very generous in the new years eve:)

    My site went from a PR 3-4, which I am quite happy with given it is about 4 months old. My blog, which I do not backlink for, at all is now a PR 3.

    I have some quality links for the blog based entirely on link bait postings, which clearly are more valuable than most of us realize!

    I happen to visit my blogs and I happen to get some PR1 rank from NA and it is good already although one of my blog goes PR1 to PR0 too bad

    Yes man, You are right, I got PR3 for one site from PR0 and for another, I have got PR1 from PR2.
    I had got PR2 for the pages to which I had added backlinks very recently and guessed that backlinks are the backbone on determining the PR. :)
