you don't need the quantity of backlinks. You just need a high quality backlink. Put your site link in a PR 6 page or higher and wait for next PR update :D

I want to know the age of your site. if your site is so young, maybe you have to wait for the next time.
besides offpage SEO, you could put more attention to the content of your site. only the site with original and informative content can find favor with Google. :D

Just wait for the next page rank update, if by then your website is still not getting any PR after doing everything that you said you've done. Then you can get someone to look into it for you closer!

Additionally, modify the title tag and meta description of your website. Do not waste space in these tags with the name of your company/website.

Although good SEO housekeeping is needed to help get you high in the search results the actual page rank (PR) of your site (or more accurately every individual page of your site) is related to only one thing. The links you have to your pages. If you have had the site for 6 months and you still have no PR (a PR of 0 is PR btw) then you may simply have poor quality links to your website.

Get more links and get them from high PR pages. A couple of PR 6 or 7's will probably be enough to give you a PR1.

Of course focusing on PR may simply be pointless. What you actually need is targeted traffic and you get that from high search engine ranking for specified keywords - NOT from PR. There are plenty of PR0 sites in the top ten Google searches for high traffic keywords.

Focus on links with your keywords in anchor text and from sites with PR5 or more. Track the search engine ranking for the keywords with something like Market Samurai and you will see them getting higher and higher as you add anchor text links.

First add some keyword rich content and then try to get back links from relevant & high PR sites.
