Few Queries w.r.t. Pp Verification by Indian Bank Cards

    Dear Guys,

    I have a few confusions regarding verifying Pp account and hope you would assist me in the matter.

    Following are the queries:

    1) Even after the recent directive issued by the RBI, does the VCC of HDFC bank still working to verify Pp a/c ?

    2) Does the Axis bank also has a VCC like that of HDFC Bank which can be used for Pp verification? If yes, can any one name the card and the method of applying for it?

    3) Even if I go for real CC, is it necessary to have the card from the same bank, the detail of which I have provided at Pp, for the purpose of verification and withdrawal to my bank a/c?

    E.g - I am a SBI A/c holder and now as no more debit cards can be used to verify my Pp a/c, and if i go for a HDFC credit card, can i link the card with the same Pp account and get verified? I mean, Can I link the HDFC credit card and withdraw funds to the SBI account? Or do I have to open a new HDFC bank account to withdraw funds from the Pp that is verified with HDFC CC?

    1. Yes its working.
    2. Yes Axis also provides it.
    3. No, it doesn't matters which bank cc you need to use. You can use any.

    I guess the VCCs provided by Kotak Mahindra and Axis can be obtained only through CC where as that of HDFC through DC as well as CC.

    Right?

    even though I dont have Kotak CC, I used VCC of Kotak several times from my savings account. I usually use only Kotak VCC because of below issues with HDFC and AXIS bank.

    Issue with HDFC Bank VCC --> Atleast for me Verified by Visa log in to HDFC netsafe is not consistent. This means some times it allows me log in some times it dont. Never face such problem with any other log in till date.

    Issue with AXIS bank -> This stupid bank website wont work with latest Java Runtime. I really dont know why Indian users of AXIS bank are still using this banks netbanking. I believe, such banks should be dumped for not considering such basic concerns of their users.
