Adsense earnings: December 2008 and december 2009

In december 2009, my Adsense earnings are 50% drop, compared to december 2008.

Note 1: My site-traffic comes from google, and is doubled.

Note 2: I use the high paying keywords.

Has the economy impacted your earnings? how much? 50%, 30% 20%...?

 

For me it is steady. But I found a significant loss in CPC but I adjusted it with traffic.

 

Now a days advertiser also pays less for click too.
After all they are in the economy too.

 

I really dont think it is because of the economy. You need to work on CTR and other adsense layouts.

 

Last December I made around $1200. This month I'll make over $11,000. I've worked my ass off this past year though, so I'm happy to see these results.

 

My earns are started to drop in september, and yours?

 

Last December 2008, I had $1198. This year December 2009, I am forecasting $2550. You are well ahead in the game. Congrats!!! My target for December 2010 is $4000. Hope I can achieve it.

From what I have seen, eCPM is down this December. Anyway, Dec is traditionally a bad month and is different for niche. Wait till mid Jan.

It wasn't December, only. My earns drop from september.

The click rate for insurance companies was &65 last year which has dropped to $35 (on average) this year. And this has happened for most of the keywords. So you will see your earnings getting reduced.

 

I have been averaging a 25% increase in revenue for each month starting in September. December was great until the day before Christmas, but I am still ahead that 25% and expect a rebound in click value in January.

For me the impact of the economic turmoil of a year ago has been reduced and I think we are crawling up from the bottom of the bad economy.

 

The fact that the guy made so much earning over the month is down to hard work on creating a site that people want to visit, content that is relevent and on topic, the search engine optimization (where the site ranks in the likes of google etc) is at a high grade and that he has a good niche in terms of keywords.

Get all of that working correctly and together and your laughing and can too expect these results.

Is this from just one site or a network of sites?

 

I've earned only a little money for this month. I've been focusing on affiliate sales, and I'm proud to say that I've earned well over $1,000+ dollars this month just from my affiliate website(s).
