    Hey guys/gals.

I recently found my product being sold on the cheap at a place called 'BookDepartment.info'.

    See the forex category: http://www.bookdepartment.info/all-forex/cat_2.html

There are no affiliate links, he/she simply downloads and sells it on cheaper.

I recommend you email admin@bookdepartment[dot]info to get your product removed, as I did when I threatened legal action.

I have contacted him again to tell him that this post is being put up in the Clickbank forums!

I hope I can help you combat some scams here.

    Cheers.

That sucks! Try and contact the hosting company and register and tell them what is going on and that it is illegal.

    Yeah just emailed GoDaddy cheers!

After further inspection there's MMO stuff there too!!

I rather people pirate my software than sell it for less than they would get in commission anyway! Dumb ass.

Hey I must say if he bought the system, that gives him the right to resell his copy for less. I am sorry but that is how a lot of people make sales, I even sale products in my store for less than what I paid for, since I have the license of resell after I purchase the product. This causes competition, a lot of people do this. If he removes the product, he is dumbass because he really don't have too. And if they make him, all he have to do is change the name, and some content, its not like he is ripping off your site, so you might be out of luck if this guy is smarter than the average person.

I think I am going to buy it, and sell it for less, LOL just playing with you, but he do have a lot of cheap products!

Did you put resell rights on it? If you did then anybody can sell it for anything. But if not then they can not.

Are you stupid? You think just coz someone has bought something it gives them the right to re-sell it over and over again?

Only one of the stupidist posts on this forum.......just cause you buy a product it doesn't mean you can resell it unless it has specific resale rights which PHAZ's product does not!!

All you have to do is change the product name and content around and there you go, people
do this all the time. Yeah it's bad, but it's life. If you bought it you can sell it, it might not sound right but it's true. If you don't believe me then look it up. The guy that owns the site looks like he is writing a review for the products, so he is not stealing any information but your pic and your product lol which he did buy from you. And are you sure you didn't have resell rights on it.

Oh yeah, I hope you get a response out of GoDaddy

But Anyway sorry for your lost.

Yeah right.....what the hell are you on about.......you obviously know nothing or you wouldn't be making such STUPID statements.

If you buy a product online you can not resell it end of story, only an IDIOT would beleive that.

Anyone reading this thead would do well to steer clear on any informtation that Clintin provides as he obviously has no clue in hell what he is talking about.

I'm sure if you try with your reselling trick with some of the vendors around here you'd have a DCMA notice and lawyer up your ass so fast you wouldn't have time to blink!!

Try going to another forum with your ill advice............

You should send his host a DMCA, which is a "Digital Copyright Millenium Act" notice - which is where the host will suspend his account and investigate the claim of copyright infringement.

You will normally have to hand-write / fax over the DCMA and if the host is legit, they will take action on it immediately; asking questions later.

After that.... depending on how much $ it's worth... you could persue further legal action.

lol dude. If I don't state it has resell rights, its copyright infringement and illegal. Simple as.

Sure he could change it around, but the fact is he didn't!!

Thanks for your comments guys, I hope I've helped a few vendors out here!

Cheers goopy - I've emailed GoDaddy, so I will go from there.

    Cheers

I don't know where you are located, but they are in Indonesia . . . not much on the legal side you can do there.

On the other hand, getting the webhost to ban them may be a way, but they'll just move to another host and do the same -- quite possibly.

Definitely a site to look out for.

Since I sell resell rights on all my products(because it's PLR packs), it doesn't affect me -- although I have others I will keep an eye on for sure.

I guess $2-$6 goes a long way in Indonesia -- maybe one of the only places left where the dollar is worth something LOL

it happened to me as well. some fool was selling my product, along with another 2 and charging the price of one (i.e buy three for the price of one).

what i did was to go direct to paypal and inform them of the infringing act. then i emailed the admin of the site, warning them of what was to come if my product was still there in 24 hours. well, they removed my product... but my competitors products were still there :)

people resort to terrible ways to make a quick buck nowadays.

write up a short email send it from legalteam@your domain make it look proffesional and ask them to remove the product or you will require compensation for damages and loss of income etc they most likely will not move to another host then.

i agree with you, I saw people there don't much appreciate about legal stuff  But I believe if more than 2 sellers can write to the webhost they will banned. It's hard enough to fight a piracy like this.

I hope someone have another ideas for this.
