Cell phone numbers go public this month

All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketers companies and you will start to receive calls this month. You will be charged. To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone 888-382-1222. It is the national DO NOT CALL list. It takes less than a minute. It blocks telemarketer calls for 5 years. You must only call from the cell phone number you want to be blocked.

All cell phone numbers in the US perhaps.
In many countries you don't have to pay to receive cell/mobile calls. Thankfully I'm in one of them.

    :)

In India the outgoing calls hitting down rapidly and there is no chance of incoming calls charges:).
here we won't get any trouble because of this, but we are getting nuisance here too, i am getting daily atleast 10 marketing sms.

I guess this has to be old news as 'Do not Call' registry has been in existence since several years now and many people like me around the world would already be successfully using it! :)

These calls were anyway not charged but were blocked mainly for its nuisance!

I believe that is for US Residents.

I work for a Market Research firm here in Canada, and we call residents and businesses only. But we are market researchers, not telemarketers. For Canadians, there is a DO NOT CALL list for telemarketers, but not for market researchers.
