Everyone has a different version of what is romantic. For me,romance is sharing the anticipation of discovery and adventure together exploring new roads, meeting new people having the time to be us.Romantic means to be glad to be sharing our perceptions of the world together. Please share your experience, what's your version of romantic?
I believe in possibility of finding like minded people on the internet that let you remove the geographical boundaries and allows you to interact with someone on absolutely intellectual level.
You basically summed up what I was going to say. Romantic is sharing yourself with someone, allowing them to see the side of yourself you never show to anyone, and they reciprocate with equal openness and embrace you for who you are. Or something like that
I found my post in some other forums, http://forums.vmoptions.com/showthread.php?p=13104 . Why they do that?
This is actually an interesting question. Unfortunately I think Fairy tales/Hollywood have corrupted romantic. I think being romantic is truly being there for your significant other no matter what. Doing little things every now and again to show them you appreciate and care about them. It doesn't have to be a dozen roses and an expensive meal. Just a little "I really appreciate you because..." note slipped into their lunch bag or somewhere you know they'll find it is romantic. Sharing warm smiles and sexy eye contact is romantic. Saying I love you and meaning it is romantic. The word love is just as abused as the concept of romance in today's society.
